University of the Sciences in Philadelphia (USciences) was a private university in the University City neighborhood of West Philadelphia, founded in 1821 as the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy — the first college of pharmacy in the Western Hemisphere. USciences specialized in health sciences, pharmacy, and natural sciences. In 2022, it merged with Saint Joseph's University, with its programs now offered through SJU's College of Health Sciences and related schools.
